H Prasanna to be the next Udupi Zilla Panchayat CEO

Udupi: The Zilla Panchayat in Udupi will have a new CEO. H Prasanna will take over the charge from Dr. Naveen Bhat Y, the current Udupi Zilla Panchayat CEO.

The state government has issued orders transferring Dr. Naveen Bhat as the Director of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC). Dr, Bhat had performed exceptionally well during the Covid-19 pandemic. He had been felicitated on the Panchayat Raj Day for his meritorious service by the Chief Minister.

The new ZP CEO H Prasanna was recently promoted to IAS cadre from KAS. He has been the Deputy Resident Commissioner at the Karnataka Bhawan in New Delhi. He has served as the Assistant Commissioner in Vijayapura.
