Halli Mane Rotties gets a new Bolero Maxi truck

Mangaluru: Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group has gifted a Bolero Maxi Truck Plus to Shilpa, a single mother from here who runs a food joint named ‘Halli Mane Rottis’, a mobile fast food popular for its North Karnataka dishes.
The Bolero Maxi Truck Plus worth 6 lakhs was handed over to Shilpa by CEO of Karnataka Agencies R C Rodrigues in a ceremony held at Karnataka Agencies, Kottara here on Monday
Shilpa’s inspiring story was shared over Twitter to chairman of Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra.
Moved by her inspiring story, Anand Mahindra decided to support Shilpa with a Bolero Maxi Truck Plus.
Mahindra to gift Shilpa was to help her set up another joint in the city.
Thanking the Mahindra Group, Shilpa said, “I am grateful to the media for highlighting the story about my mobile canteen ‘Halli Mane Rotties’ I am planning to start a second outlet at Kankanady and looking for a space. Discussion is on about hiring staff for the next outlet.”
