Mangaluru: “There should be a permanent solution to the Kashmir problem and the death of innocent people should be stopped. Though India and Pakistan were divided based on religion, the problems between the two countries have yet not been stopped,” lamented Sandalwood actor Anant Nag and opinioned that the disputed area of Kashmir be handed over to the Indian Army for retaliation.

“During the Indo-Pak war of 1965, former PM Lal Bahadur Shastri said the eleternal slogan ‘Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan’ which still inspires every Indian. The move by former PM Indira Gandhi during the East Pakistan crisis of 1971 was a great decision which led to India’s victory in the war with Pakistan. Our current Prime Minister Narendra Modi must follow such great decisions,” pointed out Mr Nag.

Commenting on Mulayam Singhs’s recent statement where he wants Modi to become the Pm again, Mr Nag said, “Though there are such opinions from some of the leaders, we want a permanent solution from Narendra Modi for Kashmir issue. One should not support stone pelters in the guise of getting complete independence for Kashmir. Politicians must not support them for hidden benefits,” said Anant Nag.
