Sagar: In one of the tricolours received by the Aralagodu Gram Panchayat under the Centre’s “Har Ghar Tiranga” initiative, the Ashoka Chakra is not center aligned.

In the picture of the Gram Panchayat members displaying the national flags, one faulty flag can be observed. This pic is now making noise across social media platforms.

Reacting to this, Aralagodu Gram Panchayat President Megharaj has said, “It is very important to follow the flag code to avoid confusion and usage of the faulty national flag. It is better to double-check such flags. Currently, the flags are being inspected thoroughly in the Aralagodu Gram Panchayat office”.

Earlier, a flag in Sagar City Municipal Council had a disproportionate tricolour. After a person identified the faulty flag, it was later rejected.
