Harapanahalli: Newborn found discarded by the roadside, rescued by villagers

Harapanahalli: In a shocking incident, a newborn baby was found discarded by the roadside here late at night on Tuesday, November 16.

Villagers found the newborn male baby crying beside a roadside fence in Yedihalli village in Harapanahalli taluk in the Vijayanagara district, sources said. As dogs were also hovering nearby, the villagers got suspicious.

They immediately rescued the baby and then rushed it to the nearby hospital for further care and treatment.

At the time of publishing the news, the parents of the baby were not identified.

Recklessly abandonment of an infant has created a sensation in the locals. Villagers expressed their shock and anguish at the parents who inhumanely threw away their baby.
