Harish Shetty murder attempt case: Three in police custody?

Gurpur: It is being said that Bajpe police has carried extensive investigation and questioned many in relation to the murder attempt of Bajrang Dal leader Harish Shetty (38) , a resident of Polali and taken three persons into custody.

It is suspected that the arrested persons are the residents in the vicinity of Gurpur Kaikamba, but there is no more information available.

On Monday night, Harish was on his way after purchasing goods when near Ayesha Masjid in Gurukambla, a gang of five approached him on two bikes, attacked him with deadly weapons and escaped. Harish is responding to treatment at a private hospital in Mangaluru. It is suspected that this attempt was done as an act of revenge to the Gantalkatte incident. Bajpe police is investigating the case.
