Harvester machines from Chinnasalem reaches Surathkal

Southern Railway takes numerous efforts to ensure the unhindered movement of a variety of essential commodities and various other goods and materials.
Overcoming all odds caused by the covid pandemic, Southern Railway transports raw materials and finished products which help the traders, businessmen and farmers. These activities aid the growth of the economy, too.
The Business Development Unit set up by Southern Railway is always on the lookout to sustain and improve the commercial activities of the division.
Recently Southern Railway transported over 80 harvester machines, loaded on 32 wagons from Chinna Salem to Nalgonda in Telangana. The freight train was flagged off from Chinnasalem on October, 12.
In continuation of such efforts, on October 21 Salem division is transported harvester machines from Chinnasalem to Surathkal (Karnataka).100 harvester machines, loaded on 32 wagons reached Surathkal from Chinna Salem on Thursday, October 22.
This initiative will be very beneficial to farmers and give a fillip to agricultural activities.
