Hasanabba murder case: five accused get bail

Bengaluru/Udupi: Five persons accused in the sensational Hasanabba murder case have been granted bail by the high court, on Friday January 4th. Hasanabba was murdered in Perdoor village, Udupi district based on an allegation that he was tefuicking cattle illegally.

The case which also included the suspension of Hiriyadka police station sub inspector D.N.Kumar  for negligence of duty attracted protests and angry responses from all over the state.

Bail denied

The High Court however, denied bail to the first accused, Suresh Mendon. The order was passed by a single judge bench presided over by Justice K S Mudgal.

Meanwhile, anticipatory bail has been granted to Kushal Naik, an accused, who has been absconding so far.
