Hassan pendrive case: Former MP Prajwal Revanna’s potency test reports out

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has received the potency test report of former MP Prajwal Revanna in Hassan pendrive case. The report confirms that he is physically capable of engaging in sexual intercourse, providing crucial evidence against him.
Prajwal, currently held in Parappana Agrahara jail, underwent the potency test at Bowring Hospital a few days ago. The SIT officials have obtained the report, which is expected to strengthen the case against him. Previously, Prajwal had expressed discomfort to the court over repeated potency tests. The SIT is also awaiting voice test and other examination reports from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), which could further substantiate the charges against him.
In the five cases registered against him, Prajwal has consistently claimed that he does not know the complainant women during SIT interrogations. Recently, when questioned about one of the complainants, Prajwal reiterated, “I don’t know who she is.”
Prajwal Revanna, who is in judicial custody on charges of rape and sexual assault, has filed a bail application in the High Court.
Separate FIRs have been registered against him at the Holenarsipur Town Police Station in Hassan and the CID Police Station. The Special Court for People’s Representatives had previously rejected his bail pleas, prompting him to approach the High Court.
Prajwal is seeking bail in the case registered at Holenarsipur Police Station and anticipatory bail in the CID cases. The hearing for these bail applications is scheduled for Friday at 2:30 PM.
