Hassan: Police constable fatally stabs wife at district SP office

Hassan: A police constable fatally stabbed his wife on the premises of the District Superintendent of Police office following a family dispute.

The deceased has been identified as Mamata, wife of Constable Loknath stationed at Hassan Nagar Police Station.

The attack took place when Mamata visited the SP office to file a case about her husband due to ongoing domestic issues over the past four to five days.

Witnesses at the scene immediately rushed Mamata to HIMS Hospital upon noticing her injuries, but she succumbed to her wounds. The police have since taken Loknath into custody.

The motive behind the crime appears to be Loknath’s anger over his wife’s decision to file a complaint against him. The police are currently investigating the case and have assured that justice will be served.
