Hassan: Woman journalist attacked by mob for reporting illegal cow slaughter

Hassan: A woman journalist was attacked by an angry mob in Pension Mohalla after she reported the existence of illegal cow slaughters in the area.

Reportedly, Hassan Babu and Rehaman were running four illegal slaughter houses and their illegal slaughter houses were stuffed with close to 100 cattle.

The journalist, accompanied by animal lovers and police officials, was trying to visit the four illegal slaughterhouses and five cattle hoarding spots and when they tried to open the illegal slaughterhouses to rescue the animals, an angry mob gathered around the woman journalist. The mob then the abused and manhandled her, and threatened her with dire consequences if she didn’t leave the place at once.

Arasikere Town police have registered a case in this regard.
