Vijayapura: Sri Ram Sene chief Pramod Muthalik has claimed that he has met senior leaders of the State’s BJP and sought the party’s ticket to contest the Vijayapura Assembly by-election.
Speaking at a book release event here, he further said that he wishes that he gets back the party membership and will not contest the election as an independent candidate if not given a ticket.
“I will give my 100 per cent to the candidate the party chooses,” Muthalik said.
He attacked Siddaramaiah and HD Kumaraswamy over their remarks on the fund collection drive for the Ayodhya Ram Temple saying that both of them are former chief ministers and hence their statements do not befit them.
