Haveri: A 70-year-old Covid-19 patient has committed suicide in Haveri district hospital on Friday, May 14
The deceased identified as Yallappa Lamani, a resident of Gangajala Tanda, Ranebennuru had tested positive for Covi-19 and was admitted to Amritham hospital in Ranebennuru on May 3 . On May 5, he was shifted to Haveri district hospital for further treatment.
On Friday morning, Yallappa was found hanging near the door of his room in the hospital.
Police officials visited the spot and conducted an inspection
