Haveri: Four injured after school trip bus overturns

Haveri: Four school children sustained serious injuries after the bus in which they were traveling for a school trip overturned near Allipura cross in Savanur taluk here.

The bus was ferrying students of a government school in Sajjalagudda village in Raichur’s Lingsugur taluk.

While four children sustained serious injuries, 45 children escaped unhurt in the mishap. The injured have been shifted to KIMS hospital.

Preliminary treatment was administered to the children at Savanur Taluk Hospital.

Savanur sub-divisional officer, Tehsildar, and police visited the spot. A case has been registered in this regard.
