Haveri: Teenage girl stabs fiancé on pretext of creating reels

Haveri: A 17-year-old girl has reportedly been taken into custody for allegedly stabbing her fiancé in the neck on the pretext of making reels for social media. The incident occurred near Om Public School on the outskirts of Ranebennur town, an IANS report said.
The victim has been identified as Devendra Gouda.
According to the report, the girl was in love with someone else and had planned to attack her fiancé, Devendra Gouda, with whom she had gotten engaged on March 3.
According to police, the girl invited Gouda to a park and told him that she wants to give him a gift. Under the garb of giving him a gift, she tied Gouda’s hands, asked him to close his eyes, and stabbed him in the neck.
Gouda’s parents have lodged a complaint against the girl with Halageri police station. An investigation is underway.
