Karkala: A hay-laden truck was engulfed in flames after coming in contact with an electric cable near Ajekaru in Karkala taluk on Wednesday.
No human casualties have been reported in the incident.
As per reports, the fire mishap occurred when the hay came in contact with a high tension electric cable.
Fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the fire.
