H.D. Kumaraswamy appeared before Lokayukta’s Special Investigation Team

Bengaluru: Former CM and JD(S) State president H.D. Kumaraswamy who faces allegations of misusing the chief ministerial post to favour Janthakal Enterprises was subjected to a three-hour probe at the Lokayukta’s Special Investigation Team Hebbal office.
While granting of anticipatory bail to Kumaraswamy in the case, the state high court had directed the minister to appear before Lokayukta SIT every alternate Monday for the next six months or till filing of the final report.
The JD(S) state leader Kumaraswamy has been accused of allegedly providing permit to Jantakal Enterprises for illegal mining.
