Addressing presspersons in this regard former MLA H Ningappa said that they have pressurized Deve Gowda to contest from Tumkur Rural Assembly.

“If Deve Gowda contests from Tumakuru Rural Assembly he will win with a thumping majority,” he added.

As Deve Gowda is more likely to contest from Tumkur Rural Assembly constituency local leaders have already started campaigning for Deve Gowda, informed sources.
