Bengaluru: Enraged by Congress president Rahul Gandhi comment that the JD(S) is BJP’s ‘B’ group, former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Thursday hit back, saying that the Congress in Karnataka is in all actuality ‘B’ group of the JD(S).

Focusing on the JD(S) in the H D Deve Gowda’s fiefdom, Hassan, Rahul had on Wednesday denounced that the local party was in cahoots with the BJP. He had named the JD(S) as the BJP’s ‘B’ group.

In an announcement, an insulting Kumaraswamy said that he identified with Rahul’s “political naivety”.

“Rahul Gandhi has overlooked that the Congress is JD(S’s) B group. It is a reality. I don’t know whether it was a cognizant articulation by him or on the off chance that some person had recorded it (his discourse) for him. I can’t resist the urge to feel for his political naivety. Rahul, who has turned into the Congress president either by fortunes or by capability, wouldn’t make such infantile comments, on the off chance that he had any thought regarding the present Karnataka Congress,” the JD(S) state boss said.

He said that the Congress had marked the JD(S) as a local party as it had raised its voice against the national party. He likewise addressed if Rahul knew about the political underlying foundations of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, some of his Cabinet partners and the Congress MLAs.

“Do you know the (political) roots/cause of the present Congress Chief Minister? He was prepped by the JD(S), as were a large portion of the ministers in his Cabinet. They were altogether trained by Deve Gowda. Do you even know what number of your party leaders is initially from the JD(S)? On the off chance that you don’t have a clue about any of this, at that point your insight about your own party is constrained. To begin with comprehend the substances of legislative issues, and after that discussion about governmental issues,” he included.

He said that the first Congress was no more in presence, particularly after it had lost leaders like S M Krishna and V Srinivas Prasad.
