Dates are rich in vitamins and minerals including iron, potassium, magnesium, and B vitamins. While dates are high on calories and carbs, they are abundant in fiber.

Dates promote healthy digestion and bowel movements as they are rich in fiber content. Fiber helps lower cholesterol levels, stabilize blood glucose levels by slowing the absorption of sugar and boost digestive health.

Being rich in antioxidants, dates help reduce inflammation in the body.

Dates are great sources of potassium, and consuming them can help lower blood pressure.

With magnesium and manganese, dates keep your bones strong and healthy. Magnesium improves bone mineral density, minimizing the risk of breaking a bone.

Despite having major health benefits, dates are high in calorie content. So if you plan to add dates to your diet, make sure you consume them in moderation.
