Speaking at a press conference at Kudroli temple on Monday 8th, the Temple Management Committee Treasurer, Padmaraj said, ”The health cards issued by the government will only benefit those patients receiving treatment and inpatients at the hospital, but the ‘Gokarnantha Health Card’ will help the outpatients too. 25% concession on the total bill will be availed by the cardholders. “
The chief minister H D Kumaraswamy will release and disburse these health cards during the inauguration of Mangaluru Dasara on October 14th, he added.
Even more cards, next year
“Though 1000 cards are being disbursed during the inauguration of Mangaluru Dasara this year, there is a plan to distribute 10,000 health cads during the next year’s inauguration. We are trying to tie-up with all major private hospitals in the city to offer medical services through this card,” he informed.
