Health Minister Dinesh Gundurao on Friday emphasized the importance of conducting a thorough investigation into the POCSO case registered against former Chief Minister BS Yeddiyurappa. He further urged the public to refrain from passing judgments.
Addressing concerns about the politicization of such cases, Gundurao highlighted the distraction tactics employed by certain political factions during elections. He asserted that the focus should remain on developmental issues and fulfilling electoral promises.
Expressing confidence in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Gundurao predicted success in 20 constituencies within the state. Criticizing the central government’s policies, he called attention to rising prices, particularly citing the increased cost of essential commodities like sugar.
Furthermore, Gundurao reiterated the state government’s stance on the ban of colored candy, emphasizing the need for public awareness and compliance with regulations. Any violation of the prohibition on using prohibited colors would result in legal action, he warned.
