Heavy rain causes traffic snarls in Kaup

Kaup: Thought rains brought relief to the people of various parts of the district the traffic in front of Kapu Educational Institute came to a standstill due to heavy rains that lashed the city today, (Tuesday, May 30) morning.

The heavy rain resulted in significant water accumulation on the highway, posing a serious threat to highway traffic and raising fears of potential accidents.

This recurring problem has become an unfortunate norm, as both the Mangaluru-Udupi highway and the service road in Kapu find themselves completely submerged, making it impossible for vehicles to traverse the area.
