Udupi: A holiday has been declared for schools and PUCs in 4 taluks in the district for July 31, following the IMD’s prediction of heavy rainfall.
Tehsildars of Udupi, Kaup, Karkala and Hebri taluk issued notifications that Anganwadis, Schools and PU Colleges will remain shut on Wednesday.
The district administration has also advised the public to exercise caution during this period.
