Heavy rain: School holiday on Saturday in Dharwad and Belagavi except Ramdurg

Dharwad: Owing to continuous rain and cold winds across the district, holidays for all Anganwadi, pre-primary, primary, high schools, and pre-university colleges have been extended until Saturday.
Previously, holidays were declared for July 25 and 26. However, due to the ongoing rain, the holidays have been extended to include July 27. Deputy Commissioner Divya Prabhu has issued an order regarding this extension.
Most parts of the district are experiencing continuous rain and cold winds. In consideration of children’s health and safety, holidays have been declared for all Anganwadis, pre-primary schools, private and government primary schools, high schools, and pre-university colleges.
The School Education Department and the Pre-University Education Department have been instructed to adjust these holiday days by conducting additional classes on future public holidays.
Holiday Declared in Belagavi except Ramdurg:
The district administration has also declared a holiday for all Anganwadi centres, government, aided, and unaided primary, high schools, and pre-university colleges in all taluks except Ramdurg on Saturday, July 27, due to widespread rain.
The holiday has been declared for the safety of students. Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Roshan has issued an order that these holiday days should be compensated on future dates.
