Heavy Rainfall: Red alert issued for 6 districts in Karnataka including DK and Udupi

Bengaluru: A red alert has been declared for the next two days due to the possibility of heavy rainfall in the districts of Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, and Kodagu.

The red alert is in effect for these districts on July 14 and 15. An orange alert has been issued for these districts on July 16 and 17.

Additionally, a yellow alert has been announced for the districts of Belagavi, Dharwad, Kalaburagi, and Yadgir, indicating the likelihood of heavy rainfall until July 17.

In Bengaluru, there is a high probability of rain until July 16.

On Sunday, continuous wind speeds are expected to reach 40-50 km/h in the coastal districts of Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, and Udupi.
