Heavy rains for next 3 days predicted

Mangaluru: There is a possibility Dakshina Kannada (D.K.) district to be covered by good amounts of rain on August 26th, 27th and 28th due to the possible fall in the air pressure on the coast of the Odisha Sea in the Bay of Bengal.
As a precautionary step, fishermen have been warned to not enter the sea and people living on the low lying regions along the edges of rivers including Netravathi, Kumaradhara, Payasvini, Phalguni (Gurpur), need to evacuate to higher ground.
