Heavy rains: Holiday declared for schools and colleges in Sullia, Kadaba Taluks

Sullia: Due to heavy rains, a holiday was declared for schools in Sullia, Kadaba Taluks on Tuesday, August 2 due to incessant rains.
Rains continued to lash the parts of the district on the night of August 1.
Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Dr K.V. Rajendra visited Kadaba Taluk on Monday and assessed the rain situation.
Anganwadis, primary and High schools, PUC, Diploma/ITI and colleges will remain closed as a precaution, DC said.
