Hebri: Udayavani newspaper distributor killed in road mishap

Hebri: A distributor of Udayavani newspaper died in a road accident near Shivapura, at Nayar Kodu, on Friday when a motorbike he was riding hit a JCB.

The deceased has been identified as Pratyaksha Shetty (21), a resident of Nayar Kodu. The accident occurred while he was on his way to drop his brother to school. His brother, Preetish, who was riding pillion, sustained minor injuries.

Pratyaksha, who was called ‘Munna’ by his friends, worked at the Shivapura petrol bunk. He had lost his father who was the main breadwinner for his family, with his mother suffering from health issues.

A case has been registered at the Hiriyadka police station.
