High Court sends notice to Kannada Chalavali Vatal Paksha

Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court sent an emergency notice to a pro Kannada outfit, Kannada Chalavali Vatal Paksha, while hearing in regards to the proposed bandh on February 4.
Shraddha Parents’ Association was seeking directions from the High Court to restrain the proposed bandh on February 4.
Chief Justice HG Ramesh and Justice P S Dinesh Kumar were hearing a public interest litigation filed by Shraddha Parents’ Association.
The court also issued notice to the state government in this regard and adjourned the hearing to February 2.
