Mangaluru:  Vexed after a squabble with his girlfriend, a man climbed a mobile tower on Monday and refused to get down until the issue was sorted out.

The man named Sudhir from Kodman in Bantwal and a girl from the same village were lovers. Sources said they had broken up after a quarrel recently.

In a bid to change his girlfriend’s mind, Sudhir climbed the cellphone tower and refused to get down from it until his girlfriend arrived at the spot.

The high drama ended once his girlfriend arrived at the spot and convinced him to get down.

Once on the ground, he was nabbed by the Hoysala Police who later handed him over to the Bantwal Rural police station.
