Hijab controversy: Man threatens college principal, lands behind bars

Kundapur: Amid the ongoing Hijab controversy in the state, a 32-year-old man has been arrested over charges of threatening a PU college principal here.
Mohammed Shabeer, a native of Kolar wrote an email to the principal of a composite PU college allegedly threatening her for denying entry to students wearing hijab.
The principal had lodged a case in this regard with Kundapur police.
