Hold ‘Vidyut Adalat’ every 3rd Saturday in every village: Min Sunil Kumar to officials

Bengaluru: State’s Energy Minister V Sunil Kumar has directed officials to hold a ‘Vidyut Adalat’ on the third Saturday of every month.

As per the order, the assistant executive engineer and other officials should hold ‘Vidyut Adalats’ in every village of the Taluk in which they operate on the 3rd Saturday of each month. The officials should listen to the grievances and solve them in a time-bound manner, he instructed.

The officials, from the rank of Assistant Executive Engineer to Managing Director, should participate in this program, the minister said. The minister also told the officials to plan such that at least one official is available in each village.

The officials have been asked to submit the action taken report to the Managing Director, who in turn should submit the collated report to the department, he ordered.
