Holidays declared for all schools in Kadaba; Some schools to remain shut in Bantwal on Monday

Bantwal/Kadaba: Due to the inclement weather and heavy downpours, a holiday has been declared on Monday for schools in Kadaba Taluk and selected schools of Bantwal.

Tahsildar of Kadaba has ordered all schools- including Anganwadis, primary and high schools- taluk to remain shut on Monday.

Similarly, in Bantwal, a holiday has been declared for for Monday several schools affected by flooding.

Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan, on Sunday, issued instructions to the tahsildars to decide whether schools need to be closed after assessing the local conditions. The current conditions do not warrant the closure of all schools in the district, he added.
