Honeytrapping case: M’luru police arrest seven

Mangaluru: Police have arrested seven persons in connection with a honey trapping case of a businessman in Bondel under Kavoor Police Station limits.

The arrested are identified as Surendra (29), Murali Krishna (26), Kishore (32), Sushant (23), Likhit (23), Tarun (20) and Akshata (24).

The accused had tried to extort money from a businessman by honey trapping him.

Police informed that the arrested Surendra alias Pritam (Preetu) had been named in cases of assault and fraud at Barke, Mangalore East and Kanakanady police stations. A case of assault has been registered against another accused Kishore earlier in Barke police station. Sushant is also named in a case in Kavoor police station.
