Honnavar: Prime accused in Paresh Mesta case arrested

Karwar: The prime accused in Paresh Mesta’s murder has been arrested by the Honnavar police. With this arrest, the accused that has been nabbed in Paresh Mesta case are two.
The accused has been identified as Salim Shiek.
Paresh Mesta went missing on December 6 after a huge violence broke out between two groups. Mesta’s dead body was found in a lake in Honnavar on December 8. Paresh Mesta’s death sparked a massive violence in the district. The case was handed over to the CBI and investigation was in progress.
According to Paresh’s father, his son was murdered with intention and five of them were involved in the murder. The police managed to arrest the ones who went missing after the riot.
