Honour to Kalasha in memory of the Kargil Vijayothsav

Belthangady/Subrahmanya: ‘Shradha Suman Shradanjali Kalasha’ arrived at Dharmasthala and Subrahmanya as part of the celebration of the 20th year of Kargil Vijayothsav.
In Dharmasthala, Dr Veerendra Heggade put water of the Netravati into the Kalasha, offered flowers and honoured it. He called the children nearby and asked them to show love and informed that one should be proud and respectful of the armed forces.
Commanding officer Dr S C Bhandary, C Dinesh, B P Shivakumar, Narayana, K N Shehadhri, R Satish, M Baby, Krati, Ashwin Babu and A V Shetty were present.
In Subrahmanya, the operations manager Ravindra M H welcomed the Kalasha procession and honoured the Kalasha. The president of the temple’s office Balasubrahmanya Bhat, Prasad were present.
The Kalasha which started its journey from Bengaluru on Jan 25th Reached Dharmasthala on Sunday and later Subrahmanya. The Kalasha will pass through 200 cities in 20 states and will reach Kargil monument at New Delhi on July 27th where it will be placed, informed commanding officer Dr S C Bhandary.
