Horatti formally joins BJP at CM’s residence

Bengaluru: Former JD(S) leader Basavaraj Horatti formally joined the BJP at an event held at Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai’s residence on Wednesday.
On May 16, Horatti had tendered his resignation to the post of Karnataka Vidhana Parishad Chairman as well as the membership of the Legislative Council.
CM Bommai welcomed Horatti to the BJP-fold by handing over a party flag.
Former CM Jagadish Shettar, BJP national general secretary CT Ravi, ministers Govind Karajol, R. Ashoka and CC Patil were present.
