Hosanagar: Woman ends life after pushing children into well

In a heart-wrenching incident, a woman took her own life after pushing her two young children into a well in Champakapura village under Matikay Gram Panchayat limits.

The deceased is identified as Vani (32), wife of Rajesh and her children, Samarth (12) and Sampad (6).

A CCTV footage of the incident, which took place on Wednesday (August 7), has emerged and shows Vani is seen taking her children towards the well. The sounds of the children’s cries are audible on the footage.

The incident has left the local community in shock and mourning.
