Hubbali: Police officials have arrested a man who hired contract killers to murder his son by faking a suicide in Hubballi.

The accused Bharath owns a gold shop in Koppikara and his son Akhil Bharat Mahajana Sheth (26) owned a construction business.  They often quarreled over petty issues.

On December 3, Akhil’s Uncle Keshav filed an FIR claiming that his nephew was missing. He also said that Akhil had made a video call to his father saying that he will be committing suicide.

However, it was later revealed that Bharath had hired contract killers with the help of his friend Sohail to kill his son.

Following this, Bharath, his friends Mahadev and Sohail were arrested by the police.

A case has been registered.
