Hubballi: Union Min Gadkari lays foundation stone for five highway projects; Will change transport scenario, says Bommai

Hubballi: Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Monday laid the foundation for various national highway projects in Hubballi.
Speaking on the occasion, Bommai said, ” Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has laid the foundation stone for five highway projects costing over Rs 3,000 crore. The highway projects will change the entire transport scenario of Karnataka. It will lay a strong foundation for growth in the economic, social and education sectors in the state.”
He further thanked Union Minister Prahlad Joshi for his commitment and diligence in implementing the projects.
Meanwhile, speaking after inaugurating the 374th-anniversary celebrations of Belavadi Mallamma’s victory over the Maratha army on Monday, CM said that the government has planned to include lessons on Karnataka’s brave women in the school syllabus.
“The coming generation should know about the valor of brave women like Belavadi Mallamma, Kitturu Rani Chennamma, and Rani Abbakka,” he added.
