Huge catch of sardines at Kodi

Kundapur: A huge amount of sardines have been caught through net fishing at Kodi in Kundapur taluk. There is bright smile playing on the lips of the fishermen here after they witnessed a huge catch of sardines in their hand net fishing traps today morning.

Just recently, a massive catch of silver fish was witnessed at Hejmady, and Padubidri to the much delight of the net fishing fishermen. Besides, two months back there was big news that two net fishing boats had caught a big catch of pomfret, croaker fish and malabar anchovy.

Similarly, when the net fishing traps caught a huge catch of silver fish at Hejmady, the load was such that the locals had to come together to pull the catch ashore. It is worth mentioning that this video went viral on social media.
