Huge water tank repaired: Water leakage stopped

Surathkal: The water which was leaking to waste from the huge water tank near Govinda Dasa College here has been rectified through repair work.
The repair work was taken up on Friday under the leadership of corporation division’s zonal commissioner Ravishanker by engineer Abdul Khader.
An report regarding the water leaking from the tank going to waste even while the city is facing a lack of water was published on ‘Udayavani’ on Friday, which brought the issue to the notice of the concerned officials. As a result, the repair work was taken up.
