Humbled by readers’ enthusiastic praticipation in Udayavani’s annual Deepavali contest: Dr Sandhya S Pai

Mangaluru: The response from the readers to the Udayavani ‘Deepavali Dhamaka’ contest every year is unparalleled, said Managing Editor ‘Taranga’ weekly magazine Dr. Sandhya S Pai.
Speaking at the prize distribution ceremony of the 2021 edition of the Udayavani ‘Deepavali Dhamaka’ contest, Dr. Sadndhya S Pai said that the good response from readers has brought a sense of gratitude within the organization.
The prize distribution ceremony was held at the premise of S.L. Shet Diamond House, the prime sponsor of the annual contest, at Ladyhill on Tuesday. Dr. Sandhya Pai thanked S.L. Ravindra Shet, owner of S.L. Shet Diamond House, for the continued support of the Udayavani’s contest every year.
The winners of this year’s Deepavali contest were given out grand prizes. Venkatesh Bhat Katapadi received a bumper prize gold necklace, while Dinesh G.V. of Kundapura won the gold bracelet. The other winners were N Raghuveer Kamath from Mangaluru, Prakash KB from Marnemikatte, Jeswin D’Souza from Deralakatte, Anandamahi Y from Bengaluru, Kalathuru Bhagyashree Kamath. Several other readers also won consolation prizes.
