Hunasagi: MLA Bairati Basavaraj’s car overturned and fell into a ditch at the Kamanatagi border on Monday around 5.30 pm.
It is gathered that Basavaraj, who was traveling for election campaigning in Kamanatagi village, was on another car and has been reported to be safe.
Driver Satish and gunman Chandrashekhar who were in the car sustained minor injuries and have been taken to the local government hospital for treatment.
Police are at the scene and have registered a case.
