Hungund Congress MLA Attracts Another Controversy after Hit and Run Case

Chikkamagaluru: Hungund Congress MLA Vijayanand Kashappanavar attracted another controversy in a hit and run case on Saturday night at Mudigere steel bridge. The car driven by the MLA reportedly hit a bike and injured two youths travelling by it.  The motor cycle damaged completely in the accident, however, the MLA fled from the spot even if he was aware of the accident.

The locals followed MLA’s vehicle and criticized his negligence which followed heated arguments between MLA and locals. The police arrived at the spot to resolve the issue following the controversy.

The incident occurred when Vijayanand Kashappanavar and his members of family were on their way to Sri Dharmasthala temple visit. Earlier, MLA had attracted controversy after a clash at a bar in Bengaluru.
