Hunsur: Two engineering students killed in car-truck collision

Hunsur: Two engineering students were killed and two others were injured when the car they were traveling in collided with a lorry near Hosaramanahalli here on Wednesday.

As per sources, Mauleshwar Reddy, Tejas, Suhan, and Shubhankar, all students of an engineering college in Hassan, were on their way to Mysuru on a car. When they reached Hosaramanahalli in Hunsur taluk on the Mysuru-Hassan Highway, their car collided with a truck.

Due to the impact, Mauleshwar died on the spot, whereas Tejas breathed his last while being taken to the hospital.

The other two students also sustained injuries and have been rushed to the DRM Hospital in Mysuru.

Bilikere police have registered a case.
