Husband kept wife in a closed room for two months

Mysuru: In a shocking incident, a husband had kept his wife in a closed room for nearly two months in HD Kote here.
It was reported that Sudharani was locked up in a room for two months by her husband Prasad and when she went to visit her parents and dint want to get back, husband and his community members gathered and threatened to pay Rs 4 lakh as compensation if she didn’t go with her husband.
The timely help came when Santhavana Centre, run by the women and child welfare department rescued Sudharani.
