Husband leaves home after quarrel; Wife and child live in a bathroom demanding alimony

Kolar: In a bizarre incident, Woman named Mala along with her two year old child are living in a bathroom after quarrel.

Chetan who belongs from Kolar had married Mala three years ago and has a two year old child. From past one year, there were troubles in their married life, due to which Chetan filed for a divorce. Mala too has filed harassment case against Chetan and claimed that he had been torturing her for dowry.

Amid this, Chetan has locked the house and living somewhere else. His wife is living in the bathroom in front of the house with 2-year-old child demanding for alimony. She also accuses Chetan of torturing her to leave the house.

When questioned, Chetan claimed that Mala is doing this for attention and that she had left home long back and was living with her mother but she recently moved into the bathroom and is making false accusations against him.

However, their case is currently in the court and officers of Women and Child Welfare Development have enquired Mala regarding the issue.
