Madikeri: In a shocking incident, a man allegedly shot his wife dead fillowing a quarrel.
The deceased has been identified as Battira Sushma. The accused Battira Gopal aka Kishan has been arrested by the police.
The incident took place on Tuesday (August 9) night at Cherala Srimangala village of Kushalnagar taluk. The couple had an argument, which eventually led to murder.
Madikeri Rural Police are investigating the case.
Superintendent of Police M A Aiyappa arrived at the spot and assessed the situation.
